These next several pics are of (and from) Seattle's beautiful "Smith Tower," which opened on July 4, 1914. Its 42 floors once made it the tallest building West of the Mississippi (until 1964, I believe). At the time it was constructed, it was the fourth tallest building in the world. I don't know if you can tell from these photos, but it's really a beautiful building.
