We Got Ourselves Some Satisfaction
Stones came to town the other night, and we availed ourselves to a couple of tickets outside the stadium. Paid about what it costs to fill a Hummer these days, but lordy was it worth it.

Just 23 short decades after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the first woman has been named Executive Chef of the White House kitchen (Laura’s decision, apparently; not W’s).
Maine, Y’all
Maine’s earliest inhabitants were descendants of Ice Age hunters. Maine’s newest inhabitants (Portland, starting Sept) will be Thom and Jen. Up-and-coming restaurant scene, hoppin’ harborside city, and salty fishermen…works for us. Stopped in Rockland, too, on our last trip down.
